Let’s Think Soberly

March 23, 2013

“For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.” Rom. 12:3-5 NKJV

It is so important for each of us to realize our need for one another. We should not think of this as an option. If we allow ourselves to become too isolated from the rest of the body, we can soon convince ourselves that we are spiritually self-sufficient. Let us not “forsake the assembling” of ourselves together “as the manner of some is.” Heb. 10:25

Oh, saints. All will be as well as it can possibly be with us when we are assembling together regularly by faith in love, growing up together in his manifold grace!

  1. Very good word dear brother. We must always consider these things and the need of the rest of the body of Christ is always paramount for the members.
